The national football team of Algeria represents the country in men's international football and is overseen by the Algerian Football Federation. The squad competes in their home games at the 5 July Stadium in Algiers and Miloud Hadefi Stadium in Oran. Algeria became a FIFA member on 1 January 1964, a year and a half post-independence.
