West Ham United Football Club is a professional football club based in Stratford, East London, England. The club currently competes in the EFL Championship in the 2026–27 season following relegation from the Premier League. The club plays at the London Stadium, having moved from their former home, the Boleyn Ground, in 2016. West Ham United was founded in 1895 as Thames Ironworks and reformed in 1900 as West Ham United.
